Downloadable self-guided audio walking tours in MP3 format

Tourist Tracks, a UK company based in Cambridge, has launched a series of downloadable self-guided audio walking tours in MP3 format.

Users log on to www.tourist-tracks.com select the city of their choice, pay £5, and download a zip file containing the MP3 files and maps in PDF format.

Cities on offer include London, Bath, Brighton, Cambridge and Oxford.

Each city tour pack contains between one and three walks, and will give visitors an ideal guide to the historic sites of the UK's most celebrated cities.

Each tour has been written and recorded with the help of experienced tour guides and with the full support of the local tourist information centres. Indeed, most cities also offer the tours for hire direct from the city centre tourist information office.
